This is a lovely pair of green sea glass earrings set in gold vermeil.
 
Gold vermeil is Stirling silver which has been plated with at least 2.5 microns of gold. Standard gold plate is only 0.5 microns.
 
This pair of earrings has been plated with 3 microns of 22k gold ensuring the highest quality.
 
These beautiful pieces of glass were found by myself on the East Coast of Scotland. Sea glass has been naturally tumbled by the sea for decades giving it a smooth and frosted texture. I wonder what these pieces of glass started life as?!
